Unquestionably, the myth of creating Aluminum-ion battery has been around for years. Scientists from many well-known universities have been researching for the correct methodology to create a successful cathodes and anodes for Aluminum-ion battery for decades but without success.
Today, Maple Hill Zone Pte Ltd, together with our team of highly skilled and knowledgeable scientists, we have proven to successfully created the non-explosive ultra-fast charging Aluminum-ion battery, fabricated with own chemical formula (patent pending) in various battery sizes. The applications of our rechargeable
Aluminum-ion battery are ranging from compact power-bank, vehicle’s EV battery to energy storage system for household usage and within solar farms.
The ultra-fast charge property of Aluminum-ion battery offers seconds to minutes charging duration instead of hours compared to conventional Li-on battery. It is extremely small in size and extremely cheap. Imagining 60% reduction in size with the same energy capacity in comparison with Lithium-ion battery, and cheaper!
Traditional Aluminum-ion battery can exchange three electrons per ion (Li-on can exchange one electron per ion), while our Aluminum-ion battery can exchange more than 3 electrons per ion. This means that the energy stored in our Aluminum-ion battery on a per volume basis is higher than any other metal-based batteries in the market and also have a higher number of charge-discharge cycles, high capacity with exceptionally low in cost of production comparing to traditional Lithium-ion batteries.
More importantly, our Aluminum-ion batteries are “non-explosive” and “non-hazardous” (tested with proofs) unlike Li-on battery that is highly flammable and extremely dangerous when used in certain conditions.
Like all other batteries, the basic structure of our Aluminum-ion battery includes two electrodes connected by a specially crafted electrolytes with chemical composition to act as medium for the flow of charge carriers. Because of special chemical reaction in the coating, our Aluminum-ion battery has longer shelf life and will not be fully discharged, thus maximizing the stability of the battery itself.
The process in the production is simple, environmentally friendly, non-toxic and non-hazardous, this means we do not need environmental and waste management system in the production plant. The production process of Aluminum-ion battery does not emit pollutants, contaminants or carbon footprints, it eliminates any ecological toxicity and any other environmental impacts compared to conventional Li-on battery. It is completely a green and clean product.
Strategies
Aluminum-ion battery production plan will aim to start with compact 12V power-bank to charge mobile phones, tablets and other small electronic devices. The market size for power-bank is increasing exponentially; valued at USD6.8 billion in 2019 and increasing every year. Aluminum-ion power bank will enable users to recharge devices such as smartphones, tablets and other media devices with USB capability. The capacity will range from 10,000 mAh to 50,000 mAh, with segment of 10,000-20,000 mAh batteries expected to generate the highest revenue due to affordable price.
In parallel to the production of Aluminum-ion power bank, we aim to manufacture Aluminum-ion EV battery for sedan cars, SUVs and motorcycles; as well as Aluminum-ion Smart Energy Storage for storing energy collected from the solar panels in solar farms; and finally, Smart Fuelcell Standalone System (patent-in-process innovation that provides clean and green energy to consumers, no electricity grid required.)
The list of our products in-planning is listed below.
- Aluminum-ion power bank (30 watts)
- Aluminum-ion EV battery (450 watts and 500 watts)
- Aluminum-ion Smart Energy Storage (1-kilowatt)
- Smart Fuelcell Standalone System (including solid hydrogen system)
- Cathode of Aluminum-ion battery
